Tempo AI Assistant

Tempo AI is SongBoard's built-in assistant that helps you plan events faster. You can ask it to draft event structures, improve card content, answer how-to questions, and help you move through tasks without bouncing between pages.

Free vs Plus (Tempo AI)

• Free: Tempo can answer questions, suggest what to do next, and help you plan.
• Plus: Tempo can do that and make changes for you (like creating events, adding or updating cards, and applying edits across your event).

How to Use Tempo AI

1. Open Tempo from your SongBoard workspace (it's the robot icon 🤖).
   • You can also get to it on desktop by pressing Ctrl+. (Cmd+. on Mac).
2. Ask in plain language (for example: "Build out a full wedding board with questions and songs sections").
   • (But, you can try asking it to do anything)
3. If Tempo wants to make changes to your SongBoard workspace or events, it will always ask for "Approval" first. Check if it's asking for any approvals.
4. If any changes are made, you will need to refresh the page to see them take effect (if you're on the same page where changes were made).
   • We're going to improve this in the future 😅

You can keep prompts short and practical, like:

• "Create a full wedding event with cards and notes."
• "Add helpful planning questions to Ceremony and Reception cards."
• "Rewrite these card notes to sound clearer for a host."
• "Import this VIBO event and map songs to the right sections."

I ran out of tokens... can I get more? 🙏

Send an email to support@songboard.app asking for more tokens and we can extend your token quota.

Can Tempo generate images for me?

Yes! Just ask Tempo to create an image for you, and he can assign it as an image for an event, your workspace logo, and more.

Can I upload files to Tempo?

Yes! You can drag-and-drop files to Tempo to use when generating events or cards.

Can Tempo AI replace my event review?

Tempo speeds up planning, but you should still do a quick review before sending events to hosts.

Does Tempo AI work for existing events?

Yes. You can use Tempo to improve and update events you already created.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Tempo is built directly into SongBoard.
